Flavor - 81.5
The taste of the product/85 points
possible
This is a truly impressive offering. The taste
is so complex and staged. It tastes (sorry for this one) as
sweet as honey at first. Then you get a nice spicy taste. Then
the peppers kick in and it starts warming...warmer...still
warmer....but alas, it cools down without you're mouth ever
being fire hot...AWESOME!
Aroma - 4
The aromatic qualities of the product/5
points possible
The sauce looks to have a lot of honey
in it based on its consistency but one small sniff let's you
know it's going to have plenty of kick! The smell is pure
pepper and spices!
Product Appearance - 3
The look of the sauce/3
points possible
Great looking sauce! It looks and pours
like honey...it's loaded with spices though and you see them
easily in its amber color.
Packaging - 2
The appearance of the bottle and
label/2 points possible
The packaging here is simply
awesome. The graphics are colorful and fun. I also like the
fact how descriptive the labeling is...not only do you get the
name of "Honey Hot" they further clarify by labeling it as
"sweet and spicy with medium bite" giving you a really good
idea of what your getting even before you buy this product.
The old time "swing top" is the capper that puts it over the
top and lands it a perfect score here!
Overall Experience - 5
Blend of taste, aroma,
product appearance, packaging and value/5 points possible
Everything you could ask for in a great
sauce....appearance, taste, aroma, packing...Cattle Boyz
nailed it!
Reviewer's Notes
This homemade sauce was first
sold out of the family butcher store. It continued to build
and pick up steam as they rolled it out via more avenues.
Today it is widely available via various outlets in North
America.
My only concern that there is some sort of addictive
chemical added...I want more, more, more!
